Private Residence Coastal Wedding . Cape Cod Wedding Photographer

Mike and Megan are super kind human beings. I can tell because not only were they sweet to me and each other, but at dinner the toasts kept rolling in with loved ones telling stories about their humility and generosity; exactly the type of couple you want to document. They plied all their guests with amazing food, trolly rides, gifts, and music from a cover band that absolutely slayed Justin Timberlake. Here are some of my favorites from their end of summer wedding.

Thank you to the talented Ashley Bosnick for having me shoot alongside her!

Hallstatt, Austria Anniversary . Austrian Wedding Photographer

Can we believe this happened? No not really. When Jeremy and I were planning our trip to Austria, I connected with a talented local wedding planner, Verena Kindermann. We ended up being fans of each others' work and she offered to plan an Austrian photography session and hook me up with a local couple interested in an anniversary shoot. And when I met Sandra and Thomas, my husband and I instantly connected with them. From our mutual love of How I Met Your Mother and Game of Thrones to our shared obsession of adventure travel and good food, we had a ton to chat about. This is why I love traveling. It's always amazing how much we have in common with our peers across the world. The four of us explored the beautiful town of Hallstatt for a while, took some polaroids, and then shared some drinks overlooking that heavenly lake. Here's what we saw.

Siesta Key Anniversary . Florida Wedding Photographer

Will and Mia got married just a year ago on this very beach. They're both in education, but she's also the photographer behind Little Hummingbird. Their meaningful session was right up my alley. As I packed up my gear to head for the beach, it started to pour like a hurricane. The water and winds ate into their session for about twenty minutes while we waited anxiously. It finally cleared. Then to our surprise, everything went white. The sky and the sea matched the bleached quartz sand. And then the sun broke through the clouds and did this epic Michelangelo thing. As we moved to the rocks, everything turned gold. Later, when Mia and Will went for a swim in the gulf of Mexico, the sky changed again into a myriad of deep pinks. This session reminded me why I love photography so much. Between getting to work with awesome, adventurous people who are up for anything, and the unpredictably of light, this shoot was idyllic. I can't imagine a more special setting for their anniversary.

Bohemian Desert Elopement

I've always loved the idea of elopements. I love simplicity, and the recognition that a wedding is all about the two of you. And using a beautiful landscape like a rocky desert as the backdrop while you commit to each other for life is a glorious option. No decorations necessary.

I worked with an amazing Arizona team on this one. These artists are the real deal and I count myself extremely lucky.
